I strive to keep my services affordable and accessible for all clients. Every dog is unique, and so is every training plan. Because I tailor each program to meet the specific needs of you and your dog, pricing is determined after we discuss your goals and create a customized plan.
Training We Offer:
Behavior Modification: For dogs struggling with behavioral problems such as reactivity, anxiety, aggression, jumping, excessive chewing/barking, resource guarding, etc! We will get to the root of your dog's behaviors and create a comprehensive plan to create new patterns and behaviors.
Obedience: Whether your dog is starting with no foundations or working towards advanced skills, we can help!
Socialization/Confidence Building: We create controlled exposure to new people, dogs, environments, sounds, and situations while teaching your dog how to regulate and engage with their handler.
Specialty Training: Service work, CGC prep, etc!
Doggy Day school
Give your dog a day full of learning, structure, and fun! Your pup will spend 5 hours with me and my pack, working on a balance of training, socialization, and enrichment.
Throughout the day, your dog will:

Practice passive training like house manners, polite greetings, and calm behavior around other dogs.

Build confidence and social skills through safe, structured dog socialization.

Go on weather-appropriate outings such as hikes, park trips, or visits to dog-friendly stores.

Receive multiple individual training sessions tailored to their needs, reinforcing obedience, impulse control, and engagement.
Day School is a great option for busy owners who want their dog to learn, burn energy, and come home both mentally and physically fulfilled.
Board & Train
Our Board & Train program is designed for dogs of all ages, including those who need more intensive support with obedience, manners, confidence, or behavior modification.
Each dog stays with us for a minimum of 4 weeks and receives an individualized training plan based on their temperament, current skill set, behavioral needs, and your goals for them. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all program, we adjust training as your dog progresses to ensure we're building skills at the right pace.
Throughout your dog's stay, you'll receive regular progress updates so you can follow along with their training journey. You're also encouraged to visit during their stay, giving you opportunities to stay involved in the process.
At the end of the program, we'll complete a Going Home Assessment, which includes a review of the skills your dog has learned as well as a public outing to demonstrate how those skills transfer into a real-world environment. You'll go home with a personalized training schedule and continued support, including 4 follow up lessons after your dog's return home. This allows us to help you maintain your dog's progress, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure the skills your dog learned with us successfully transfer into everyday life.
Our goal isn't simply to train your dog while they're with us—it's to give you the tools and support to continue that progress together at home.
Private 1:1 Lessons
Our 1:1 training sessions are perfect for owners who want to be hands-on and actively involved in their dog's training journey. These private lessons are designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and practical techniques you need to confidently communicate with and train your dog in everyday life.
Each session is tailored to your dog's individual needs and your specific training goals, allowing us to focus on the areas that matter most to you. We'll work together through each skill with plenty of attention to detail, demonstrations, and hands-on coaching so you leave each lesson understanding what to do, how to do it, and why it works.
Training doesn't stop when the lesson ends! After each session, you'll receive personalized homework to practice between lessons. Consistent practice at home is an important part of building reliable behaviors and allows us to continue progressing to the next phase of training during your following session.
For clients looking for ongoing support, we offer training packages that bundle multiple private lessons at a discounted rate, making it easy to stay consistent and build on your dog's progress over time.
Virtual Lessons
YOU MUST COMPLETE AT LEAST 2 IN PERSON SESSIONS!
This service is a great fit for those who just need additional aide in their training journey. During virtual I will demonstrate drills with a demo dog and have you repeat them. During this time I will educate and walk you through each step!
Daycare & Boarding
Work long hours? Let your pup hang with us for the day to enjoy some *healthy* play time so you can still come home to a tired dog.
Going out of town and don't want to leave them at a boarding kennel? Now your dog can have their own staycation in the comfort of our home!
Regular day care and overnight boarding services are available to all dogs who have completed any training program through Kristen's K9 Dog Training!
